Last night was probably the best night of my life... or wait was that three or four weeks ago?  Regardless last night was amazing.  See there's this soccer team I like too much that has traditionally sucked.  This year was the first time in ten years that they've had a winning record and last night it looked like their season was on the verge of collapse.  Down by two goals with half and hour to go with a steady 34 degree rain mixing with the snow already on the field, I might have been asking myself why I had driven to Foxboro on such a night if it had not been for my trusty harpoon IPA.  And then they scored, and again, and again, and there was pandemonium... but in a good way.  Usually when I go to sporting events the home team gets fucked, but not yesterday!

Besides this obvious triumph of triumphs life has been moderate to good lately.  I am very unemployed and very much still living with my parents BUT, on the other hand I have a plan, or at least I think I do.  It still needs some fine tuning, but I'm thinking of taking a couple classes, brushing up on my calc, and maybe becoming an actuary at some point in the next two to three years.  Until then, I'll just be taking life as it comes.  Originally I was thinking of teaching English in Nepal, but as it seems they're in the middle of a civil war maybe I'll just go and work on some organic farm in Australia for a little while (http://www.wwoof.com.au/).  Actually it's much more likely I'll just end up with some random job round Boston, but who knows.

Finally, on a bit of a random note, though I remain categorically opposed to online music stores, a couple weeks ago I found one that I liked enough to give my credit info to.  They don't have lots of mainstream stuff but they've got tons and tons of obscure stuff, everything you d/l is in mp3 form so there's no fair use crap, and lastly but not leastly its cheap.  Anyway the site is emusic.com, and if you sign up for their trial you get 50 free songs and have two weeks to cancel.  Also.... if you refer anyone you get another 50 songs, so if you love me, and you decide to try it out let me know first : )

Yesterday I finally made it to Bristol with Mike.  We'd been trying to go for at least two weeks, and despite the obstacles, delays, and such, it was worth it.  The snow was amazing and the weather was unseasonably mild (only a couple below freezing).  I even brought my camera-- although unfortunately nothing I took came out.  I do have a couple pictures from snowboarding in NH over break though that weren't too bad.

Anyway there hasn't been much of note besides the snow lately.  I got my hair cut.... three weeks ago.  I sorta started a jam band which we've tentatively names 'The Experiment.'  Oh and I started going to the gym again, but I'm not sure how long that'll last.  There's a lot of other minor things I could add, but I guess I'll just skip down to the pictures featuring my sometime accomplices in crime; Nick, Sean, and Brian.
